This Cluster is not intended to replace, displace, or compete with the National Health System. Rather, we aim to contribute skills in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Public Health, Health Sciences, and Health Services Administration that can benefit Liberia.<\/p>\n<p>This professional group is apolitical and not affiliated with any political party. We expect our membership to grow as our activities expand. Our purpose is twofold:<\/p>\n<p>To keep readers informed about Cluster initiatives<\/p>\n<p>To extend an open invitation for interested professionals to join us in developing practical solutions to healthcare challenges unique to Liberia<\/p>\n<p>Some of the most pressing issues in Liberia\u2019s healthcare system include chronic shortages of medical supplies, a lack of qualified personnel, and communication barriers between health providers and the general population.<\/p>\n<p>Promoting public health awareness is also essential. Messages about vaccines and the importance of routine medical checkups should be central to healthcare delivery. It must also be emphasized that seeking professional medical care should never be considered a last resort. There is no contradiction between promptly taking a loved one to the hospital and later inviting a pastor or imam to pray for them\u2014both approaches are compatible and encouraged.<\/p>\n<p>We remain committed to serving the Government and people of Liberia whenever our expertise is needed.
